This large estate was designed by Royer Landscape and the homeowner. We installed irrigation, drainage and all planting. Large beautiful Sequoia Trees, Specimen Cypress, Crape Mrytles and over 70 types of shrubs. We also installed extensive lighting which makes this home a spectical day or night.

Royer Landscape worked with architectural plans and remodeled this stone/ concrete pilaster entry with custom wrought iron gates. We installed high quality lighining on entry columns and on large specimen trees.

This beautiful custom home is located in a private community in Laguna Beach. It was designed by Landscape Architect Dale Waldo. We worked very closely with the architect and the homeowner to complete landscape, irrigation, lighting, and architectural features.

Complete remodel of the front yard designed by Rod Royer and Jim Lawrence. RLC installed new entry walls and steps covered in slate and a drive way with slate accents. A stunning glass and concrete wall was designed to match the garage door style. Custom Wrought Iron entry gates with Kinslo Glasswall System. RLC installed all drainage, irrigation low voltage lighting. We also installed Tropical, low maintenance planting to complete this modern home. Adding to the low maintenance and modern theme is synthetic turf used throughout the front yard. No cutting, no watering and no pet stains!

Spanish Style home on a one acre parcel. Through the lower part of the yard, pathways meander around the 100 year old oak tree in its natural setting with a large turf play area. We created steps up to the deck area, and built a large retaining wall to create a below grade, 20’ x 12’ x 8’ high wine cellar. Steel decking above the block walls enabled us to inlay 1,500 sq ft of brick decking and build a dark Brazilian Stain patio structure next to the pool.

This rear yard was designed for the owner by a local architect using all recycled brick. The outdoor fireplace, BBQ, seat walls and brick paving throughout was done by one of our qualified subcontractors. Royer Landscape installed drainage, lighting and planting.

Extensive backyard and pool remodel with difficult access due to the steep rear hillside. We installed steel beams to the patio get rid of supports that obstructed a magnificent view. The 4,000 sq ft rear patio was finished with 12” square pavers covering the ground, planters and pilasters. Paving and bullnose trim consistent with the Spanish/ Southwest home. Infinity edge pool was decorated with pavers and tile. We build an awesome granite palapa bar complete with outdoor burners, BBQ, sink and outdoor fridge. We installed extensive lighting and a beautiful firepit with flames dance from a sand base. We constructed most of the raised Ironwood deck and installed the tempered glass railings.

Complete backyard remodel designed by Royer Landscape Inc. (excluding pool) Custom pool with acid washed colored concrete and two freestanding patio structures. Large turf area for volleyball court and kids play area. We also installed a 16’ trampoline at ground level for improved safety and fun. We removed and recycled over 3,000 sq ft of concrete to build a low riprap retaining wall at the lower property area. The wall expanded usable yard area and allowed for a for a putting green and fruit tree orchid.

Front and rear yard remodel designed by a local architect. Backyard includes custom fountain area, BBQ/ entertainment bar with granite counter tops. Broken concrete was recycled to build a retaining wall along property line. Stamped concrete paving leads to front yard. In the front we installed a concrete drive and extra parking spot, broken up with real stone banding. Stone light pilasters and low voltage lighting for pathways.

Hardscape and landscape renovation designed by a local architect. Interlocking paver walkway with custom fountain/ planter at entry. Irrigation, lighting and planting. Rear yard includes pavers and a custom wood patio structure which provides shade in summer and sunshine in warmer months.

Job designed by Royer Landscape. Flagstone/ stackstone and concrete circular driveway. Pilasters with radius stackstone steps at street entry of walkway. Custom landscape includes large flowering trees and shrubs, and low voltage lighting system.

This job was a complete remodel of the front and rear yard. We started from bare earth and installed extensive drainage and irrigation systems. Then we installed a 9,000 sq ft custom driveway consisting of colored concrete banding and interlocking pavers. Light pilasters, retaining walls and seat walls were accented with slate, and a custom fountain was installed at the entrance to the house. 

The rear yard was also completely remodeled from bare earth. We installed colored concrete with a sandblast finish coordinated with the pool remodel (by outside contractor). Royer Landscape installed planters and seat walls covered with slate, as well as a 17' BBQ island with burners and a large BBQ. We also built a 1,200 sq ft Patio Trellis to shade the BBQ island

The Palos Verde stone on the house was left in place and enhanced with a new walk and front entry. Natural stone tapered walls and steps to the street. New walkway is washed concrete. High quality lighting system and planting. Designed by Royer Landscape Inc.
